Quisqualis indica

.....also known as the Chinese honeysuckle, Rangoon Creeper, and Combretum indicum....  and mine is blooming profusely at the moment...and well...there is fragrance in the air...yess...love it!!

  2. Alhamdullillah... it is picking up... err perking up.. i shud say... was 'dormant' thruout d v hot season... all leaves falling n was bear... but new leaves r shooting out...now that there has been some rain n d temps r a little lower... in shaa Allah may post a pic soon....

  3. can you post the progress please, i love wisteria, when i was studying in europe i got to see it everyday during latespring/early summer, it is really beautiful. i want to grow it here too. I pray your wisteria will survive.

  5. Hello Babaji...i presume u meant propagate...? BTW r u referring to d wisteria o d Ranggoon Creeper/Quiscalis indica...? if u r referring to d Ranggoon Creeper..well results vary among gardeners. Some are lucky; others not. A common form of propagation is stem cuttings. You might try rooting semi-hardwood and soft cuttings to see which works best for you. The easiest is to look for a rooted sucker...if your vine has produced suckers, look for a rooted segment that has popped up near the mother plant, sever (with roots) and plant elsewhere. Some have been able to grow Rangoon creeper from seed. The black fruit (seed pod) is oblong with sharp angles and has just one seed.
